So Not Worth It (Korean: 내일 지구가 망해버렸으면 좋겠어; RR: 'Nae-il jiguga manghaebeoryeoss-eumyeon jokess-eo'; lit. I Hope the Earth Collapses Tomorrow) is a South Korean television series starring Park Se-wan, Shin Hyun-seung, Choi Young-jae, Minnie and Han Hyun-min. It was released exclusively on Netflix on June 18, 2021.


Synposis[]

The series revolves around a group of students with different multicultural backgrounds residing at a college dormitory.

Park Se-wan[]

Played by actor Park Se-Wan. Se-Wan’s character is a Korean advisor in charge of the dormitory management and attends the school on scholarship. She is quite strict at her job and often uses it to advantage for blackmail, money, etc. Se-Wan was quite the Tsundere at first put ended up falling for Jamie and eventually started dating him.

Jamie Houston[]

Played by actor Shin Hyun-seung as Jamie. A newcomer from the USA. Son of Barbara Houston. Jamie suffers from constipation and is sensitive going to the bathroom this leads to an accident where he ends up in the ER. Jamie was often alluded to be gay however he ended up dating Se-Wan.

Future[]

In an interview, director Kwon Ik-joon mentioned that the production of a second season was dependent on the first season's popularity. He commented, "While chatting with Minnie in Thailand, I thought, 'I think it would be fun to go to a foreigner's house'. It would be fun to draw a story about going on a vacation to a country where a foreign friend lives."
